Full Description

44462 This tower mill probably dates from the early or mid 19th century and has been disused since 1906 at least. Little is known of its original equipment, only one pair of stones remaining in 1985, when they were removed. The iron spur wheel and upright shaft survived until the early 1980s when they were taken out. The tower is in good condition, although some floors are bad, and is used for storage in connection with the adjacent foundry. {1}{2} For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {2}
