Full Description
During an evaluation, deposits and features indicating Late Saxon/medieval occupation were revealed. Two intercutting pits, a stone-lined circular feature thought to be a well or pit, and masonry representing a possible wall were recorded. A fragment of the iron backplate of a woolcomb, and two pieces of ceramic mould indicate some form of domestic or craft activity on site. {1}{2}
