During fieldwalking, a scatter of post-medieval to modern pottery was recovered. {1}{2}
During trial trenching at TF 2654 1770 two ditches were recorded that had previously been identified during the geophysical survey. Quite a lot of building materiel was recovered from the site, along with brick wasters. This may suggest that this was the site of or was close to a brick clamp. Post-medieval pottery was also recovered, together with glass and shells. {3}{4}{5}
