Full Description

This small tower mill was probably erected in the early 19th century, and appears on an Ordnance Survey map of 1824. It went out of use in 1908, after the cap and sails were blown off in a tail-wind. There were four patent sails, driving 3 pairs of stones. The empty tower stands as a store. {1}{2} Early 19th century, four storey tower mill, constructed of bitumen painted brick.
