Full Description
Cropmarks of a large, wedge-shaped enclosure with a possible entrance to the east, overlooking Normanby Dales. There is a short linear feature adjacent to the northern side (see PRN 51596). Initally thought to possibly be the remains of a Neolithic long barrow, this interpretation was later rejected by Dilwyn Jones on the basis of further aerial photographic evidence. The feature is now thought to be the remains of an enclosure of probable probable prehistoric date. {1}{2}{3}{4}
