Full Description
A box of pottery from Wrangle Primary School was sent to Boston Archaeological Group. Some pots are said to have been there for 20 years. All unprovenanced but fairly certain to be from low grounds area. Contents included a mixture of Roman and Medieval pottery, bricks, and stone. Medieval material included a tubular spout with moulded head, bearded style, sherds of shell gritted ware, green glazed rims and handles, green glazed skillet handles, a green glazed sherd with scale decoration, a red-brown cooking pot, and a Bourne Ware dish rim.
