Full Description
The remains of a probable Neolithic long barrow have been noted as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken of this area to the north of Top Buildings in 2000. The cropmarks show as a roughly rectilinear, ditched enclosure, measutring 42m by 22m and elongated along a north-north-west to south-south-east axis. A digital elevation model produced of the site from 2008 height data shows a very shallow, amorphous earthwork mound survives over the barrow, though this is much spread by ploughing. {1}{2}{3}
