Full Description

19th century school building comprising four wings built in red brick in English Bond with yellow brick banding, under a pitched gabled slate roof. One large stack. Modern flat roofed buff brick extension added to the northwest corner of the school. A modern classroom building has been built at the rear of the schoolyard. {1} The building can be seen on both the 1888 and 1905 OS maps of Amber Hill. A small extension appears to have been made to the rear wing between the two dates. {2}{3} It is unclear when the school was erected.
