Full Description

Terry Booth Farm, Amber Hill. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {1} There are two nearby farms along the Kyme Eau, both named Terry Booth Farm. This is the southern farm, located on the eastern side of the Kyme Eau, with the other being located to the north, on the western side (see MLI82982). Pevsner believed this farm to be of late 18th century date, and comprised of a group of farm buildings with a completely enclosed crewyard. {2}
