Full Description

Likely late 19th century farmhouse at Woodhouse Farm. The farmhouse is a 2 storey building with a gabled roof covered with modern concrete tiles. The building has been covered with modern concrete rendering, and all the window and door openings have been boarded up. The main elevation faces south. It has a single door opening on the ground floor, with 2 windows on either side, and 5 windows on the upper floor. The eastern elevation has no openings, and the northern elevation is mostly obscured by the modern 2 storey extension that was added in the 20th century, to the north-east portion of the building. The extension is built in brick laid in Stretcher bond. Its eastern elevation has a single door opening on the ground floor, and 1 window on the upper floor. The northern elevation has 3 window openings. There is another small, modern single storey extension off of the northern elevation of the farmhouse. The western elevation of the farmhouse has 1 single door opening and a window on the ground floor, and 2 windows on the upper floor. The farmhouse was recorded in February 2018 as part of a programme of historic building recording prior to its proposed demolition. {1}{2}
