GOSBERTON QUADRING ROAD TF 23 SW (west side) 4/57 No.1 and 2 Holme Lea House 7.2.67 (formerly listed as Holme Lea) II Former house, now 2 houses. 1794, altered early C20 following fire. Red brick in flemish bond, slate roof slightly lowered, with 2 gable stacks. T-plan. 2 storey, 3 bay front with recessed central 6 panel door with moulded lintel and plain fanlight. Semi-circular chamfered arched surround with keyblock, slightly advanced, flanked by single Venetian windows. To first floor a central sash with semi-circular head is flanked by single Venetian windows. All windows are glazing bar sashes, with Gothick tracery to the heads and have rubbed brick arches. To the side a tall semi-circular headed stair light. Interior. 3 storey stick baluster stair, open carved string, cellar beneath stair, semi-circular archways, stair dado rail. 6 panel doors and shutters throughout. Fruit and flower plaster decoration to ceiling in front left hand room. Large basket arch to former kitchen fireplace. Listing NGR: TF2360232116
