Description
LINCOLN SK9771NE STEEP HILL 1941-1/9/367 (East side) 08/10/53 Nos.49 AND 50 GV II 2 houses, now a gallery. C15 and C16, restored 1962. Coursed rubble, with arch-braced timber framed second floor with rendered nogging. Gabled and hipped pantile roof with a brick gable stack. 3 storeys, 5 bays of framing. In the centre, 2 half-glazed panelled doors, that to left recessed. To the left, a glazing bar casement, flanked to left by a half-glazed door and to right by a larger casement. To the right, a larger triple glazing bar casement. Above, two C19 casements. All these openings have wooden lintels. Above again, four C20 casements. INTERIOR not inspected.
