Description

RUSKINGTON NEWTON LANE TF 05 SE (west side) 4/56 White House Farmhouse - II Farmhouse. Mid C18 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar and red brick dressings. C20 pantile roof with ashlar coped gables and kneelers. A single ridge and 2 gable brick stacks. Ashlar quoins and brick eaves. 2-storey. 5-bay irregular front, with off-centre doorway with C20 6-panel door with rectangular overlight and plain bracketed hood. To the left a pair of C19 glazed double doors with segment brick head. To the right a single glazing bar sash with a segment brick head with ashlar keystone, beyond a small C20 glazing bar fixed light and then another glazing bar sash, both with brick segment heads. Above 4 glazing bar sashes to the eaves. Between the 2 upper right-hand windows is an ashlar shield. Listing NGR: TF0865051063
